Screams of pain echoed through the endless universe
As the maiden gave birth to a new descendent
The child new to the cold and unwelcoming surroundings
Called out in fear to his mother
Softly she whispered into his ear,
“You may ask why I have brought you forth to such
troubling times my son, but you will one day realize
the strength and power you hide deep inside.
It’s in you alone, my blessed child that serenity will come at last.
Look to the sky my beloved and witness the birth of your moon, the symbol of your authority”

She raised up the child as a blinding burst of light filled the sky. Knocking both the child and
mother back to the ground, cradling the child deep in her arms she protected him from harm
as her frail body was pushed along the raggedy ground ripping the flesh from her back.
With the last of her strength she pulled her child close to her face, a tear running down her
cheek she whispered in a broken voice “My love, though my life fades away I will always be
with you” Pulling a necklace from her chest and placing around the child.

The blinding light begins to fade in the horizon and the moon of athesia begins to weaken.
The mother covering the child with her arms watched her moon pass away in the child’s eye.

With her final breath she screamed, and her moon lit up.

This piece I’ve worked on for the past 3 months. Rendering was solely done in Bryce 5.
The rest of the long tenuous work was done in Photoshop.
This one about killed my computer when in Photoshop with the excess of 100 layers…*falls over*

I might add more to the story but I’m not much of a writer

The file is huge I know, its so I can provide large print sizes
