It came to me in a dream…

Ok to fix any confusion…..When you look at this doesn’t it seem more like a dream then a constructive recreation of the tangible universe we know? I hope so!

Realism is not the key Idea here, hence “It came to me in a dream” Dreams are weird and unrealistic…but amazing at times. Dreams have and will for ever inspire artists. Also was the base inspiration for this. So apposed to picking apart the oddities that are meant to be enjoy and get lost in my dream.

Post work included a few hours of research on the net. I seem to be lacking depth in most of my work so I felt it was time
I really put some effort into a piece

After studying up on nebulas and what they are (A nebula forms when a star can’t maintain itself by fusion.
Basically the outer material forces the inner-material to heat up due to the force of gravity compressing everything.
The very end result are gasses that cause breathtaking glows.) I decided to add one to this piece even though its rather
small here I will post the full version of it later. I’ve wanted to make one for quite a while.

So after the post work I started in on the piece…The most time consuming part was all of the brushwork. I brushed, and
then re brushed like crazy trying to get something nice. The clouds for the render didn’t do this piece justice so I erased
them and brushed new ones in Photoshop I’d say 15-20 hours total. I had…and I mean HAD to allocate my work into
multiple files my computer couldn’t handle running a 437.32 meg Photoshop file and trying to smudge at the same time.
The file size shows my laziness more then my skill so don’t be overly impressed by that I like to keep everything on
different layers so I can easily edit everything too…

The render is Terrain my first crack at it, I added more to it in Photoshop since it came out looking bland at first.

I feel the effort and time I put into this piece shows a milestone I just passed and I hope you enjoy it!
